I'm a Multidisciplinary designer and storyteller from Sydney Australia. I graduated from UNSW Art & Design with a Bachelor of Design with distinction and received an International Scholarship to study abroad at The University of Leeds, School of Design in the Communication design program.
As a creative child growing up, I was always fascinated and drawn to creating stories, from poetry to acting, music and visual arts. I also completed a Diploma in Screen and Media at Sydney Film School, where I wrote, produced, directed and edited my own short film. My film was nominated for a number of awards at the SFS Film Festival in Sydney.
As a strategic designer, my core vision is to transform ideas into reality through experimentation, combining analogue and digital methods of making with critical thinking and research to push boundaries through design outcomes. I am passionate about Inclusivity and diversity and I believe in taking an Intersectional approach to design that considers the social, cultural and environmental impacts on society and the systems we live in.
In my practice, I have explored different design disciplines, from textiles and graphics to object and experience design. My portfolio consists of work in branding, packaging, environmental graphics and wayfinding, illustration and textiles design including screen printing, dyeing, thermoplastics and embroidery. I am very interested in design history and culture, and using design to make a positive impact, solving complexed real world problems.
